REPORT ON THE VALEDICTORY PROGRAMME OF THE SOFT SKILL TRAINING PROGRAMME
“Soft Skill Training Program”

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Career Guidance & Placement Cell of Bhandarkars’ Arts and Science College, Kundapura, in collaboration with Magic Bus, organized the Valedictory Programme of the Soft Skill Training Programme on 22 August 2026 at 12:00 PM at the R.N. Shetty Hall.

The programme was organized to mark the successful completion of the Soft Skill Training Programme conducted for students with the objective of developing essential employability and interpersonal skills and preparing students to face the challenges of higher education, employment, and the professional world.

Objectives of the Programme
The Soft Skill Training Programme was organized with the following objectives:
To enhance students’ communication and interpersonal skills.
To develop confidence and a positive attitude among students.
To improve teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
To familiarize students with professional and workplace expectations.
To enhance students’ employability and career readiness.
To encourage students to apply the skills acquired during the training in their academic and professional lives.
Presidential Address

The programme was presided over by Dr. Shubhakarachary, Principal, Bhandarkars’ Arts and Science College, Kundapura. In his presidential address, he appreciated the collaborative efforts of Magic Bus, the IQAC, and the Career Guidance & Placement Cell in organizing the training programme.

He highlighted the importance of soft skills in addition to academic knowledge and emphasized that effective communication, confidence, teamwork, adaptability, and professional behaviour are essential for students to succeed in their careers. He encouraged the students to make continuous efforts to improve their skills and utilize the opportunities provided by the institution.
